Holocaust National Memorial Day

January 29th, 2019, President Yan Feldman and one of Council’s members Evghenii A. Golosceapov participated in round table discussions “Holocaust Remembrance Day In the Republic of Moldova”, in the procession – requiem, which was held at the Memorial “Victims of Fascism” and at the opening of the exhibition “Holocaust in Bessarabia”. These events were carried under the auspices of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova in the framework of the National Holocaust Remembrance Day. 

Annually 27 of January is declared an international memorial day that commemorates the victims of Holocaust and marks their liberation from the concentration camp, where 6 millions of Jews have died due to Nazi regime as well as the end of the Holocaust that occurred during the Second World War.

Holocaust remains in the history as one the most terrible genocide of Jews, Roma and representatives of other ethnic groups.
